Game Artists take care of the graphics of a game be it 2D or 3D. Also UI, be it animations, FX or particle. You don’t have specific tasks, being us a small company, so you do a bit of everything. What stimulates me the most is the fact that we know each other we know each other’s behaviours and communication is much quicker. You have less barriers we are very straightforward with one another so we’re much faster and they are all people that I respect and appreciate I enjoy working with them a lot. We have open discussion, everyone shares his or her thoughts, then in this kind of projects, you need a person who sees the big picture, someone who knows what he’s doing, so you are always on point on a design or artistic level.
I believe software houses should hire people for their skills no matter if they’re male or female.
It has to be someone you trust, “the man of the vision” someone who knows what he’s doing. Among my favorite artist there’s Feng Zhu who’s one of the pioneers of concept art, then there’s Scott Robertson, also one of the greatest.
If I had to describe myself in 3 words I would say Sympathetic, because I give all of myself if there is a goal to achieve, Committed, because if there’s something to do, I do it perfectly. And lastly Reflective, because I ask myself many questions, but I believe we all do when we’re at work, right?
