The Lead Artist is mainly in charge of managing the team, It’s more related to production, to give the artists and team mates guidance, motivations and techniques to get the job done.
Jyamma Games made me want to work in a more familiar environment, being in a team where you have a more direct relationship with people, being less divided as in the bigger production studios, the will to start from scratch and build a very talented team and making its vision come to life.
It’s very stimulating working at Jyamma Games because of the warm atmosphere that we created at the studio, the complicity, the way we relate to each other, and also all kinds of situation we live daily that are almost on a familiar level. Also having a greater control over the creation process of the products.
I always like to say that deep down within I’m a video gamer,
even before being a person who works in the video games industry.
From an artistic perspective, I come from comic books, I started as a colourist for comic books published in Italy and France. Back then in Italy there was no educational activity for the video game industry, it started more or less when I had to take chances,
I was a video gamer so I said to my self this could be a great field where to invest my time and energies, and it opened me to a way that I really liked
So basically this is my background, someone who likes playing video games and wants to create video games just to play them and have fun doing his own job.
