Hello everyone, It’s the Jyamma Games team again!

Welcome to our second developer diary. In this video we’ll delve into the creative process from concept to delivery, focusing on the folkloric research, detail and care that goes into crafting each character or asset in the game.

Below is a summary of the highlights of the video:

Lead Concept Artist, Fabio Rodrigues, explains the process behind creating a character’s design, the approach to designing a character’s backstory, and the folkloric balance for creating a new character.

Lead Technical Animator, Francesco De Marchi, talks about Mocap technology, its advantages and what is the best part of working on this project.

Cinematic Designer, Cardinali Paride, discusses the process for developing cinematic sequences for a game, how it differs from traditional cinema, and how animation and mocap teams work to ensure the final product meets his vision.

Roberto Pavan, Gameplay Director, mentioned the challenges in creating a gameplay for a soulslike game, the research process, and the use of the AI.
