Jyamma Games, an independent software house based in Milan, focused on video game development and released its already anticipated project “Enotria: The Last Song”, is looking for an Unreal Engine Senior Game Programmer, who will deliver the vision of the game and ensure a great technical performance.

Job Description

For this role, performance analysis and optimisation are the key to what you do, so you’ll get to work alongside multiple departments including Graphics, Gameplay, and Animation department to ensure the best experiences when it comes to working on Unreal Engine 5.

You’ll be looking out for performance issues and maintaining core systems within Unreal Engine 5 while taking satisfaction from solving issues and finding solutions that pop up along the way.

Joining as our new Senior Game Programmer, your ideas will be highly valued while you help shape and contribute to the direction of the internal team, as well as working alongside your Director to make sure the project runs smoothly by collaborating on Code Reviews and helping out with mentoring other programmers.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Software engineering;
A minimum of 5 years experience in game programming;
Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and C++;
Experience working in a AAA studio
Shipped at least two AAA titles in the gaming industry
Experience working on ARPG titles
Knowledge of console porting and programming;
A deep understanding of video game production with the ease to see the perspectives of other game production disciplines.

Optional but welcome:
Knowledge of modern Unreal Engine features (Lumen, Nanite, World partition)
Knowledge of Unreal Engine Gameplay Ability System
